At Zenskillz, we turn your ideas into rich and effective eLearning. We can build a custom course from scratch or we can jazz up your existing courses and presentations.
Course Design
We view course design as a systematic process for reaching your goals. We begin each project with a course design consulting session, where we identify your expectations of the final product. During the consulting session, we discuss in detail course objectives, targeted audience, mastery assessments, authoring tools, deadlines, and cost.
We use the results of the design process to shape the course development process. We’d like to ensure that the final product meets your needs and the needs of your learners.
Course Development and Review
For course development we use authoring tools such as Lectora, Articulate Rise 360, Camtasia, Snagit, BranchTrack, ELearning Brothers. Once developed, the course is sent to you for review. The course is updated as per your feedback, then sent for a second round of reviews to you and/or other designated individuals. The completed course may be published in multiple ways: to the Web (HTML), to SCORM. We will create a zip file or an executable file that you can upload to your Learning Management System.
We utilize industry-standard SCORM-compliant authoring tools to create and deliver your online training materials. SCORM, which stands for ‘Sharable Content Object Reference Model’, is a set of online training standards and specifications designed to facilitate communication between your content and the Learning Management System. For instance, with SCORM-compliant courses, the LMS will remember where the users were when they logged off, and when they return, the LMS will allow them to resume where they left off.
Enhancing Existing Courses and Presentations
At Zenskills, we can jazz up your existing courses or Power Point presentations, making them engaging and ready for delivery. You may submit the content in a PowerPoint, PDF or Word format. We will enhance it to make it visually attractive and effective.
Here are some examples of content enhancement:
• Adding interactivities: animations, simulations, etc
• Inserting images, illustrations, cartoons, graphs for an esthetic upgrade
• Inserting Knowledge Checks throughout the course to support learner’s self-assessment
• Adding multimedia (audio narration, video)
